FRL FLAD FIR RIVER KESSEL 863A

Smooth made with style to burn.  We showed his awesome uddered Precision sired dam FLAD 83S as a cow/calf pair with FLAD Sparks Fly 29Z calf at side.  After a long debate of “to sell or not to sell” we decided to offer choice of the pair at the Gelbvieh 40th anniversary Canadian Western Agribiton sale. Fir River Livestock purchased the sale lot and chose the cow, FLAD 83S. Since then, FLAD 83S’s daughter FLAD Sparks Fly 29Z (Kessel 863A’s maternal sister) has went on to win the 2012 Canadian Western Agribition Senior heifer calf champion, the 2013 Canadian Western Agribition Junior Champion Female and First Lady Classic Gelbvieh Champion.  Later she was named 2014 Canadian Western Agribition Junior Cow/Calf Campion. As it would happen, Kessel 863A was the calf in dam FLAD 83S at the time of her sale. Sired by FLAD Fladeland Mr. T and thus a paternal sibling to the 2014 Canadian Western Agribition National Champion Bull FLAD Fladeland Boogyman 28A, when we saw Kessel in person in Fir River’s offering at their bull sale, there was no hesitation.  Kessel was the 2014 Reserve Champion Junior Bull at Canadian Western Agribition.  Homozygous polled.
